I’m not a designer and I don’t even studied to be one, but I think I always liked to draw and doodle own designs of what could be my personal logos since high school.
I looked back to those doodles and they seem odd but they had some proportion, I did some sort of shields with the 44 number or “tk44” thing that became a personal signature until the end of University were I continued doing changes to this personal logo, that became a sort of brand to me.
So far I have designed logos for familiars, own business and projects where I have participated, and helped to a create a personality graphically represented. Some have remain and some have vanished.
My first designs were of my nick name a common error when misspelling my last name, so I doodled between class and class what could represent graphically that nickname. I also later added my number of list and basketball Jersey which soon I changed to create and start using “tk44”.
I recall this contest at University to find what could be the faculty next emblem, I think there wasn’t any but just the Mechanical and Electrical emblem of the U.A. de C. logo altered with the F.I.M.E. initials, and a lazy lion painted on a wall of a building.
My proposal for the contest:
That contest never happened, it just vanished as it never ever existed, it was kind of a shame for the university for canceling it without saying anything.
I’ll be publishing some other logos that I’ve designed under the link http://blog.cthue.com/tag/logos.
