I found this interesting videos produced by a founded Kickstarter from December 2013 called How Does it Grow?.
How Does it Grow? is a first-of-its-kind series that traces our food from the field to our fork.
This is just the first phase of a radical new food education project where we explore the journey of our produce that few of us really know about.
Each episode tells the story of a crop — the fruits and vegetables and grains that most of us can buy from a grocery store but have never seen growing in a field. How Does it Grow? visits the fields across America to see how these foods actually grow.
Both videos are interesting to me because they were filmed and talk about vegetables that are grown around the Santa Cruz County at California, they both are organic and can be found at local stores, farmers markets and are exported to other cities and countries.
Gilroy, Ca. Garlic
Watsonville, Ca. Cauliflower
I liked both recipes at the end of the videos, so I’ll be alert for any new episodes. I hope they do the Strawberry one at Watsonville and the grapes one at Napa.
